A Professor walks into a classroom at Mt. Holyoke. "Good morning, class," he
says. "Good morning, Professor," the class responds.
The next day the same professor walks into a classroom at Hampshire. "Good
morning, class," he says. The class responds, "Is it really?"
The next day the professor walks into a classroom at Smith. "Good morning,
class," he says. The class writes it down.

On the fourth day the professor walks into an Amherst classroom. "Good
morning, class," he says. He is greeted with a chorus of "How do you know?" and "Prove it!"

Wrapping up the 5-College circuit, on the fifth day the professor walks into
a classroom at UMass. "Good morning, class," he says. Several hands shoot up
at once. The professor calls on a young man in the back who seems particularly
desperate to speak. The young man asks timidly, "Professor, is that going to
be on the exam?"
