Sending Attachments:
Eudora will encode attachments to be sent, but you may wish to compress them first to take less sending and download time, esp. since you or your recipient may be paying for connect time. See Encoding information

Telnet/TN3270 Every so often you may need to Telnet or TN3270 into your ISP to change forwarding, turn on a vacation message, etc.
Usenet newsreaders will let you read and post to comp.mail.eudora.mac
