Plugins/patches/utilities to help with various languages/charsets
- Chinese instructions. "This is a technical document (in Chinese BIG5 code) with instructions on how to modify eudora.exe, paige32.dll, and qcutils.dll to solve virtually all incompatibility problems of Eudora 4.3.2.7 with Chinese Windows."
- Chinese patch Gwo Tang and Kii Ali. "This is a Chinese patch program for Eudora 4.3.2.7. It not only solves all incompatibility problems of Eudora 4.3.2.7 with Chinese Windows, but also localizes virtually all English messages to Chinese. It even adds the capability to Eudora so the patched program supports both traditional and simplified Chinese characters." (see the documentation)
- GBHZ Converter Plugin v1.1 for Eudora by ZealSoft Studio for Chinese character encoding/decoding. "This plugin will convert GB coded messages to HZ code, or vice versa. If you find "~ {" and "~ }" characters in your Chinese messages, it means the text is encoded in HZ code."

Spell Check for Windows by Michael Quinion Associates will work with Eudora. Dictionaries are available for US English, UK English, French, French Canadian, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, and Norwegian Bokmaal.
Spell Check 3.3 is a spell checker for Windows that works in many applications, including Eudora. One can also get a British dictionary for Spell Check.
- UTF to ISO plugin by Daniel Kuhn "checks all incoming messages (and can be invoked manually) for UTF-8 encoding and tries to decode as much as possible."
