rapid development, at the time of writing SnapperMail supports
POP3/APOP/SMTP/SMTP-AUTH protocols with an elegant UI that many people love.
It's main cliam to fame is its support for native desktop attachments
eliminating the need for conduit or proxy conversions (to palm format), and
just as useful, this app has support for the broadest array of attachment
types including MS Office, ZIP, and Jpeg - in fact Jpeg, Zip, and Handwrtten
notes support is bundled free. It's also the only app on the market that
supports unlimited sized messages and attachment. SnapperMail has an
interesting (innovative) UI approach, being optimized not only for PDA
users, but also Smartphone users with their 'FingerNav mode' which aids
navigation with nothing more than your finger. SnapperMail's roadmap has SSL
and IMAP just around the corner and conduits listed as 'in development' on
their site. Other worthy feature mentions are full memory card support
including a file browser, automatic mail fetching with alerts for new
messages, and very good integration with many third party and ROM based
applications."
